1DShop: deliver products with Google Drive
Products can now be delivered with a Google Drive link instead of a download channel. For private files, buyers tell you the email they requested access with, and your staff are told so they can share it.
Deliver with Google Drive
Products in 1DShop can now use a Google Drive link instead of a download channel. In the product editor, under After they pay, choose How buyers get the files: Download channel or Google Drive link, then paste your file or folder link.
- Buyers get an Open in Google Drive button in their receipt and purchase ticket.
- The link is only shown after staff confirm the payment. It never appears on listings, in carts or before the order is paid.
- Only real Google Drive and Google Docs links can be used.
Private files: "I've requested access"
If your Drive link is set to Restricted, tick Buyers request access.
- The buyer opens the link and requests access with their Google account.
- They press I've requested access and type the email they used.
- Your staff are told right away, with the buyer, the product and the email. The message goes to your staff channel, or the purchase ticket, or the orders log.
- Share the file with that email in Google Drive, then press Access given.
- The buyer gets a DM saying they have access, with the link.
Buyers can send a different email if they used the wrong one, and only the buyer can use their button. Two staff pressing Access given at once only send one DM.
If your link is set to Anyone with the link, leave Buyers request access off and buyers just open it.
On the dashboard
Requests nobody has dealt with yet wait at the top of the Orders tab, with an Access given button that does the same as the one in Discord.
