1DDrop
Giveaways with entry rules, bonus entries and a fair draw anyone can check.
1DDrop runs giveaways in your server. Members press one button to enter, you decide who's allowed in, and the winners are drawn with a code that was locked in before anyone entered, so nobody can pick them by hand.
Set them up at Dashboard → Tools → 1DDrop, or with /giveaway in Discord.
Starting a giveaway
On the dashboard, press New giveaway. You'll see the message exactly as it will look in Discord while you fill it in:
- Prize and a short description.
- Channel to post it in.
- Runs for: like
2h,3dor1w(up to 60 days). - Winners: 1 to 20.
- Ping a role when it starts (optional).
In Discord: /giveaway start prize:Nitro duration:3d winners:2. You can also pick a required role and a channel.
The bot posts it within a few seconds. The Enter button shows how many people have joined, and it updates as they do.
Who can enter
Leave everything empty and everyone can enter. Or choose any of these:
| Rule | What it does |
|---|---|
| Must have | One of these roles, or all of them |
| Can't have | Nobody with these roles can enter |
| Level at least | Uses 1D3R leveling |
| Days in the server | How long they've been a member |
| Account age | How old their Discord account is |
| Server Boosters only | Only people boosting the server |
| Only members who were here when it started | Stops people joining with extra accounts just to enter |
Someone who can't enter gets a clear reason when they press the button, like "You need to be level 5 (you're level 2)".
Ending and rerolling
A giveaway ends on its own at the time you set. You can also end it early (End now on the dashboard, or /giveaway end).
When it ends:
- The winners are pinged in the channel and get a DM (you can turn the DM off in Settings).
- The message shows the winners and a How were the winners picked? button.
- 1DDrop announces winners; your staff hand out the prizes.
Reroll picks new winners from people who haven't won it yet. Use it if a winner doesn't reply or isn't eligible.
The fair draw
When a giveaway starts, the bot makes a secret code and shows the start of its fingerprint on the message (Draw code in the footer). The code can't change after that.
When it ends, the winners are drawn from that code and the list of entries. Anyone pressing How were the winners picked? sees:
- the secret code, now that it's over;
- its full fingerprint (SHA-256), which matches the draw code shown from the start;
- a fingerprint of the entries list;
- how many entries they had.
Because the code was fixed before anyone entered, the host couldn't have chosen a code that favours someone. Each person's chance depends only on how many entries they had.
Premium
- Bonus entries: members with roles you pick get 2 to 10 entries, like Server Boosters ×2 or Level 20 ×3. If they have several, the best one counts.
- Start later: schedule a giveaway up to 90 days ahead.
- Repeat: every day, week or month, as many times as you choose.
- Claim within a time limit: winners get a Claim button. If they don't press it in time, a new winner is picked automatically.
- Export everyone who entered as a CSV.
- Up to 50 giveaways at once (3 on the free plan).
- Styles: your own look for giveaways, with a designed card. See below.
Styles (Premium)
A style is how a giveaway looks in Discord. Make them on the dashboard under 1DDrop → Styles.
- Start from a template: Party, Night, Neon ticket, Gold, Arena, Ocean, Sakura, Forest, Clean, Mono, or Classic (the standard look). Then change anything.
- A designed card: a picture on the giveaway with the prize, winners, entries and host. It updates as people enter. The time isn't on the card: the message under it shows when it ends, and Discord keeps that up to date for everyone in their own time. If you want a countdown on the card anyway, add one in the designer (
{countdown}or the time bar); those cards are redrawn every 30 minutes, every 5 minutes on the last day and every minute in the last hour. Pick one of 10 cards and an accent color, or press Design my own card to open the card designer (the same one as profile cards). There you can move anything, change every color and font, and add text, boxes, pictures, numbers and the time bar. Text can use{prize},{entries},{winnersText},{countdown}(2d 14h),{timeLeft}(2d 14h left),{ends}(the date, in your server's time zone),{host}and more. - Or your own picture, or no picture at all.
- The message: its color (and a color for when it's over), the title (like
🎉 {prize}), text at the top, and which details show: your description, when it ends, winners, entries, host, who can enter, bonus entries, claim time, the draw code and the time. - The small picture in the corner: the 1DDrop logo, your server's icon, a picture you upload, or none. The same for the footer icon, with your own footer text.
- The button: its label, emoji and color.
- The winner message, like
🎊 {mentions} won {prize}! DM staff to claim.
Save as many styles as you like (up to 20). One is the default: new giveaways use it, and so does /giveaway start. When you make a giveaway on the dashboard, pick a different style under Style, or Classic. Changing a style updates the giveaways that use it within a minute. Deleting one moves its giveaways to the default.
The editor shows a live preview of a sample giveaway, running or ended. Without Premium you can try styles and see the preview, but saving needs Premium, and giveaways use the classic look.
Who can run giveaways
On the dashboard: anyone with access to 1DDrop in Dashboard access. In Discord: anyone with Manage Server, plus any Giveaway hosts roles you add in 1DDrop's Settings.
