1DVote
Polls with live or hidden results, anonymous voting, role limits and ranked choice.
1DVote runs polls in your server. Members vote with buttons or a menu, the results update as they vote (or stay hidden until the end), and the bot posts the winner when the poll closes.
Make them at Dashboard → Tools → 1DVote, or with /poll create in Discord.
Making a poll
On the dashboard, press New poll. Start from a template (Yes or no, Rate 1 to 5, This or that, Pick a time, Staff election) or from scratch:
- Question, and more details if you need them.
- Choices: one per line. Start a line with an emoji to show it on the button, like
🍕 Pizza. - Channel to post it in.
- Open for: like
1hor2d, or leave it empty to close it yourself.
In Discord: /poll create question:Dinner? choices:Pizza | Tacos | Sushi duration:1d. Add multiple, anonymous or hide_results if you want them.
Ways to vote
| Style | How it looks |
|---|---|
| Pick one | A button for each choice (up to 10), or a menu for more |
| Pick several | A menu; you set the most they can pick |
| Ranked (Premium) | A Rank your choices button: they pick a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice |
Members can change their vote until the poll closes (you can turn that off). Pressing the same button again takes their vote back. My vote shows what they picked.
Results
- Live: bars with the percentage and number of votes, updated as people vote.
- Hidden until it closes: members only see the choices. You can still see the results on the dashboard.
- Anonymous: staff can't see who voted for what, on the dashboard or in the export. Only the totals are shown.
When a poll closes, the message shows the final results with a 🏆 on the winner, and the bot posts who won.
Ranked choice
Members rank their favourites. If no choice has more than half of the first choices, the one with the fewest is knocked out and those votes move to each person's next choice. That repeats until one choice has more than half. The dashboard shows every round, so you can see how it was decided.
Who can vote
Leave it empty to let everyone vote, or pick roles. Anyone else gets a clear message saying who can vote.
Premium
- Up to 25 choices (10 on the free plan).
- Ranked choice.
- Weighted votes: votes from roles you pick count 2 to 10 times, like staff ×2 in a staff election.
- A results image posted when the poll closes, and one you can download from the dashboard.
- CSV export of the results (only totals for anonymous polls).
- Up to 50 polls open at once (3 on the free plan).
- Styles: your own look for polls, with a designed results card. See below.
Styles (Premium)
A style is how a poll looks in Discord. Make them on the dashboard under 1DVote → Styles.
- Start from a template: Night, Holo, Ocean, Neon, Gold, Arena, Forest, Sakura, Clean, Mono, or Classic (the standard look). Then change anything.
- A designed card: a picture with the question and every choice with its result bar, the leader highlighted. It updates as people vote. When it closes is in the message under the card (you can add a countdown in the designer if you want one on the card). Polls that hide results until they close show just the choices. Pick one of 10 cards and an accent color, or press Design my own card to open the card designer (the same one as profile cards). It has a Poll results block and a bar for the time or the leading choice, and text can use
{question},{votesText},{leader},{leaderPct},{countdown},{timeLeft}and more. With a card, the separate results image isn't posted when the poll closes, because the card already shows the results. - Or your own picture, or no picture at all.
- The message: its color (and a color for when it's closed), the title (like
📊 {question}), text at the top, and which details show: your description, the results bars, when it closes and the vote count, how to vote, who can vote, and weighted votes. - The small picture, the footer text and icon, the color of the choice buttons, and the label of My vote.
- The closing message, like
🏁 {question} is over. {result}.
Save up to 20 styles. One is the default, used by new polls and /poll create. Pick a different one (or Classic) for any poll on the dashboard. Changing a style updates the polls that use it within a minute.
Who can make polls
On the dashboard: anyone with access to 1DVote in Dashboard access. In Discord: anyone with Manage Server, plus any Poll makers roles in 1DVote's Settings. Turn on Anyone can make quick polls to let every member use /poll create. Only whoever made a poll, or staff, can close it.
